Chipping Norton Lions is a service club of local men and women, dedicated to helping the community, whether that be locally in the town and surrounding villages or internationally.

As a club we fundraise by holding events such as our Easter Egg raffles, annual Christmas Reindeer Race Night or supermarket trolley dash. The purpose of raising money is to help us undertake service activities to benefit, and enhance the lives of, local people, both individually and as a community. For example within the last couple of years we have provided the town with 4 defibrillators in a variety of locations (see picture below) and have a donated more than a dozen mobility scooters to needy people as well as one to Dogs for the Disabled.

This website aims to show a little of what our Club, and the international organisation of Lions Clubs, get up to  and the ways in which we help the less fortunate.. If you have never heard of Lions before then we hope it may lead you to contact us to find out even  more or perhaps take the plunge and get in touch  with a view to joining us.

If you are already a Lion planning to  visit or move to this area, you might be encouraged to visit us too.
